Usually, when I paste a URL, I am willing to use it as a link in the future. This is why I would like the pasted URLs to turn to links directly without the need of make them links via the editor, as this is an additional step.

If I don't want a URL to be a link, I would paste it using the ctrl + shift + v shortcut which removes the formatting.
