This would be a great feature as it's something that is not used for us however can give wrong impressions on time spent on a given test. If we could have it in the settings page it would be hopefully a nice easy update you can choose to either have on or off.

Totally agree, my team has never needed to use the timer. Plus if you start a step at the end of the day, go do some other work, then in the morning return to Qase, the timer has been running overnight. Admin option to turn timer off globally would be handy.
