Add exploratory testing tool
Olya Lyovkina
It will be really helpful if in project I can perform an exploratory testing session. What should be there:
- create exploratory session with theme (name of testing goal (test charter)) with time goal (save date and time)
- during exploratory session I need a possibility to add notes (cool if with screenshoots), bug reports
- after finishing session save info about this session in special folder
- possibility to assignee test session to team member
- add this activity (create test session/assignee/finish) in slack notification
please think about it, it will be really helpful feature and great upgrade of qase

+1 to this request. I'd love to see this implemented as well. Additionally, adding a way to allow users without a full license to help contribute to exploratory testing sessions would be extremely valuable.

A suggestion that could enable exploratory testing quite easy I think would be if you could take notes while in a testrun. I mean while performing a test, add test results or whatever to it. Then when you're done you mark it as passed or failed. That would fit my workflow better than how it is now. And preferable you should be able to switch to another test case and add notes to that as well. This way you could use it in a more open and exploratory way.
Another thing I would like to see is that you could perform a bunch of testcases and then afterwards mark it as a testrun and make a report of it. (and then you could actually create new testcases on the fly and include them in the report)

Looks like the Session based testing, right? Like this one? https://www.satisfice.com/download/session-based-test-management

Kirill Markidonov: yes, that would be very helpful. I am currently using Obsidian.md as a tool for tracking my exploratory sessions and taking notes. It would be great to have exploratory testing tool inside Qase.
